The short version
No accounts, no ads and no upload of your nicknames. Favorites and recent copies are stored in your browser. Our own server counts page views without cookies, and Google Analytics is off by default; if it is enabled, it loads only after you allow it.
What stays on your device
Everything you generate happens in your browser. AceNick does not send your keyword, the generated names or your favorites to a server, and there is no cloud sync.

- Clearing site data or the on-page clear buttons removes it.
Visit statistics
To know how many people use the site, our own server counts page views. This first-party statistic does not use cookies and does not run through a third party.
- For each page view we keep the time, the page and language, the country code supplied by our network, the referring website's host name, and a broad browser, device and operating system category.
- We do not store your IP address or your full browser identifier (user agent).
- To count unique visitors, the server combines the IP address and browser identifier with a random value that is replaced every day and keeps only the resulting one-way code, so visits on different days cannot be linked.
- Raw records are deleted after 14 days; only daily summary numbers are kept longer.
Google Analytics (optional)
AceNick does not load Google Analytics by default. If it is enabled, the tag loads only after you allow it in the footer analytics settings. Google Analytics uses cookies that can last up to 180 days. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, it is not loaded. You can withdraw your choice at any time in the footer; withdrawing stops further collection and clears this site's Google Analytics cookies without touching your local favorites.
Your choices
You can clear favorites and recent copies from the tool, change the analytics choice in the footer, or remove all site data in your browser settings. For privacy questions, write to contact@acenick.com.
